12 Mile and 9 Mile Anchorage Closure

Due to Corps of Engineers Revetment Operations, Effective 06:00 tomorrow morning 12 Mile Anchorage and part of 9 Mile Anchorage will be closed to all vessels.

River Closure

There will be a river closure tomorrow from 2:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. in the vicinity of the Sunshine Bridge (Mile 167.4)

River Closure

The main channel under the Sunshine Bridge (Mile 167.4) will be closed from 13:00 - 15:00 tomorrow afternoon.

River Open

The Coast Guard has advised that the fire has been contained and the river is now open.

Effective 10:00 a.m. this morning, the Bar Pilots recommened maximum loading draft for Southwest Pass is 46 feet.

White Castle Anchorage

Dredging Operations are completed in the crossing adjacent to the White Castle Anchorage. As a result, the NOBRA Pilots are now accepting orders for vessels wishing to anchor at that location.

Change in Draft

The Bar Pilots recommened loading draft for Southwest Pass is 45 feet effetive 10:00 a.m. this morning. In addition, the Crescent Pilots have raised their recommneded loading draft to 47 feet.

NOBRA Pilots - Change in Draft

Due to improving conditions, the NOBRA pilots have increased their draft recommendation for vessels transiting above Mile 224 to 45 feet.

NOBRA Pilot - Change in Draft

The NOBRA Pilots have reduced their draft recommendation for vessels transiting above Red Eye Crossing, (Mile 224), to 40 Feet. All other draft reccomendations remain unchanged.

Due to Vessel aground in Southwest Pass, the Bar Pilots have temporarly reduced their draft recommendation to 36 feet.
