Port Condition Whiskey

NOBOT ALERT: Effective at 0800 this morning, the Coast Guard has set Port Condition Whiskey.

Port Condition Yankee

NOBOT Alert: The Coast Guard has set Port Condition Yankee from Mile 20 Above Head of Passes to Mile 303. Vessels are allowed to transit between docks and anchorages. Please note there is very limited anchorage space available. Please coordinate movements with the appropriate pilot associations.

Bar Pilots - Transit Restrictions

NOBOT ALERT: Bar Pilots have confirmed they will cease operations in Southwest Pass this afternoon due to Hurricane Sally. Please see email for additional information.

POrt Condition XRAY

NOBOT ALERT: The Coast Guard has advised that Port Condition X-RAY will be set this afternoon in preparation for Tropical Storm Sally. Port Condition Yankee will be set tomorrow.

T.S. Laura/Marco - Southwest Pass Operations

The Coast Guard will set Port Condition Yankee for the entire river at 12:00 today. Inbound vessels will begin moving at that time. Please check your e-mail for additional information.

T.S. Laura/Marco - Southwest Pass Operations

NOBOT Alert:The Bar Pilots have confirmed that they will cease operations this afternoon. The last inbound vessel (Tomini Felicity) is scheduled to enter Southwest Pass at 13:00 and the last outbound vessel (either Sea Luck II or Sound Young) should depart Southwest Pass at approximately 1600.

NOBOT ALERT: The Bar Pilots have advised that they could possibly cease operations as early as tomorrow afternoon as a result of the change in track of Tropical Storm Marcos. The timing of the shutdown is not certain, and they will look at the situation early tomorrow morning to make a final determination. Please be guided accordingly.

Bar Pilots - Transit Restrictions

Effective Immediately, the Bar Pilots have advised that vessels with a draft over 46 feet can only transit Southwest Pass 3 hours before to 3 hours after high tide at Pilottown.

Crescent Pilots - 47 Feet

Crescent Pilots have advised their recommended loading draft has increased their draft to 47 feet. Controlling draft for the river is now 47 feet.

Bar Pilots - Increase in Draft

Effective Immediately, the Bar Pilots recommended draft is 47 feet. Controlling draft for the river is now 46 feet.
